The development of Patriotic military-industrial complex will continue to remain a priority for defense policy the next year. the Chairman of the NAStanding Committee on Defense,National Security and Internal Affairs Koryun Nahapetyan told about this in the National Assembly during the discussion of draft on Armenian 2016 State Budget. “Special research and experimental activities are planned in 2016 which are directed to the investment and usage of modern and high technologies in the defense system. We will have some achievements in military-industrial system in the result of the mentioned clues’ implementation.
MP also gives an importance to make proper cadres for the armed forces and to the increase of qualification in domestic or foreign military institutions.
He made it clear that they will continue to focus on soldiers and their families, families of fallen and disabled soldiers' social security problems. In this regard, the issue of the increase on salaries and pensions, housing, provision of one-time financial assistance and so on is also included.
