YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 12, ARMENPRESS. The program run by Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia Armen Ashotyan on Public TV is not intended for campaign for Constitutional changes. It will include several topics and will be further extended. Ashotyan mentioned about this in an interview with journalists after Government session.
According to him, the program was not initiated specially for Constitutional referendum and will not stop after the referendum. “If we have a task to discuss issues of concern for the public, we cannot just bypass Constitutional referendum at this stage”, “Armenpress” reports, Ashotyan mentioned.
At the same time Ashotyan informed that supporters of both “Yes” and “No” will be invited to the program, including the leadership of Armenian National Congress. If they deny the invitation, to Ashotyan’s conviction, the program will not fail as “No” is not represented only by ANC, but also by “Heritage”, “Constituent Parliament”, and NGOs.
