CIS states decide to activate works of fundamental scientific research centers

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 19, ARMENPRESS. CIS states have decided to activate works of fundamental scientific research centers. “Armenpress” was informed from the State Committeeof Science of Republic of ArmeniaMinistryof Science andEducationthat the assignment was given during the 4th session of Cooperation Council of CIS member states fundamental sciences (thereafter Cooperation Council).

Chairman of State Committeeof Science Samvel Harutyunyan, president of Republic of Armenia National Academy of Sciences Radik Martirosyan, representatives of Russian Academy of Sciences gave speeches during the meeting.

Chairman of State Committeeof Science Samvel Harutyunyan introduces Armenia’s policy over the sphere of education and the works done, particularly focusing on Armenia’s strategy of cooperation in science and technology.

Participants of the meeting highlighted adoption of the agreement coordinating inter-governmental relations in the sphere of fundamental scientific research as it will foster the development of the unified area of science and technology.
