YEREVAN, 23 APRIL, ARMENPRESS: The issue of the Armenian Genocide recognition was on the agenda of the Bulgaria’s Parliament for eight times. Though, the document, recently entered the Parliament, has been removed from the agenda a while ago for unclear reasons. Armenpress reports that the deputy of the Bulgaria’s Parliament Volen Siderov stated about it at the social and political global forum “Against the Crime of Genocide”.

“We hope that this time justice will triumph in the Parliament of Bulgaria, though you know what has happened. Some time ago I was called and told that the issue, to be discussed tomorrow, has been removed from the agenda. I can say only one thing: I am ashamed of my country’s position. I have nothing more to say. I can assure that the society of Bulgaria does not share the official position of the country and they, like me, respect the memory of the innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide”, - said the Bulgarian deputy.
