Russian jet fighters to participate in celebration of Great victory in Armenia

YEREVAN, 14 APRIL, ARMENPRESS: The pilots of “Erebuni” Russian aviation military station, located in Yerevan, initiated flight training on the occasion of the celebration of the 70thanniversary of the Soviet people's victory in the Great Patriotic War. Armenpress was informed by the press service of the South Military District of the Russian Federation that during the celebrations’ days, the ring of the modern front light of the fourth-generation MiG-29 jet fighters for the first time will fly over Yerevan’s Victory Park. About 200 Russian soldiers also will take part in the solemn march of the city center and as well in the ceremony of placing flowers and wreaths at the eternal fire and the monument, dedicated to the victory of the Soviet people against fascism.

More than 800 soldiers of the Russian military base in Gyumri and 20 units of the military equipment will participate in the military parade devoted to the anniversary of the Great Victory.
