Historical and cultural sites to operate on special schedules on Independence Day

Several historical and cultural sites across Armenia will welcome visitors on special schedules for Independence Day on September 21, with some remaining open into the late evening.

The Service for the Protection of Historical Environment and Cultural Museum-Reserves said the Amberd Fortress in Aragatsotn Province will be open from 10:00 to 19:00, Bjni Fortress in Kotayk Province from 10:00 to 18:00, and the Temple of Garni in Kotayk Province from 09:00 to 22:30.

The Zvartnots Cathedral grounds near Vagharshapat will be open from 10:00 to 22:00, while the exhibition hall will be closed.

Zorats Karer (Carahunge) in Syunik Province, near Sisian, will be open to visitors from 09:00 to 21:00, while Lori Fortress in Lori Province, near Stepanavan, will be open from 10:00 to 18:00.
