Aram I heads foot washing ceremony at Antelias

Armenpress was informed from the official website of the Catholicosate of Cilicia that His Holiness in His Pontifical message noted that the foot washing ceremonies tangibly express the love, which is the essence of Christian religion. In Christian understanding the Love is considered one of the God’s attributes. But, the love is not a usual attribute, God is love, the inexhaustible source of love.

After biblical interpretation, His Holiness conveyed his message to the people, underscoring that love means to live the presence of God.“Love means to be helpful to our neighbor. Love means to live, act and service for our Church, nation and homeland”, - emphasized the Catholicos Aram I.
