YEREVAN, 11 DECEMBER, ARMENPRESS. Chairman of Armenia’s Investigative Committee Aghvan Hovsepyan has signed orders on the structure and procedure of activities of the Disciplinary Commission of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia. In accordance with Article 15 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia “On the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia”, the Disciplinary Commission shall be composed of 8 members. The Commission shall include one of the vice-chairmen of the Committee, three servants of the Investigative Committee selected by a drawing, as well as two representatives of the President of the Republic of Armenia and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, selected by the Office to the President of the Republic of Armenia and the Staff of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, respectively.
As the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia reports to “ArmenPress”, according to Article 31 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia “On the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia”, based on the results of the discussion on the petition to instigate disciplinary proceedings, the Commission shall decide to accept or deny the petition. The decisions of the Commission shall be made by a closed vote, by the simple majority of votes of the attending members of the Commission.
