Armenia's President hosts Karekin II and Aram I

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 18, ARMENPRESS. The President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyanreceived His Holiness Karekin II, the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, and His Holiness Catholicos Aram I of the Holy See of Cilicia. The Mass Media and Public Relations Department of the President’s Office informed “Armenpress” that advancing the two significant events – the 5th Diocesan Representative Assembly to be convened in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and 5th Armenia-Diaspora conference, the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, His Holiness Karekin II, the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, and His Holiness Catholicos Aram I of the Holy See of Cilicia reflected on the pan-national issues and challenges the Armenians worldwide and in the homeland have to face with, as well as the ongoing activities aimed at the preservation of the Armenian identity in the diaspora, and church-state relations and cooperation.
