Catholicos Aram I met with U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon

YEREVAN, JUNE 11, ARMENPRESS. On June 11, in the morning, His HolinessCatholicos Aram Iof the Holy See of Cilicia received the U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon David Hale. As “Armenpress” was informed from the Catholicosate of the Grand House of Cilicia, the hour-long meeting focused on issues related with the Middle East and, particularly, with Syria and Lebanon. His Holiness informed the Ambassador about his discussions on the above-mentioned issues in the Vatican. The Ambassador, in his turn, introduced to the Supreme Patriarch the concerns and viewpoints of the United States on the situation in Syria and Lebanon.
