Serzh Sargsyan signed decree on reorganization of bodies under Government

YEREVAN, MAY 1, ARMENPRESS. The President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan signed a decree on the reorganization of the bodies under Government and on the amendments of the President’s decree NH-1063 "On Defining the Structure of the Government of the Republic of Armenia" of March 16, 2002.

As “Armenpress” was informed from the Department of Mass Media and Public Relations of the President's Staff, directed by the 85th article of the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia, and on the basis of the President’s decree of July 18, 2007, NH-174-N, which defines the 7th point of the order of activity organization of the Government of the Republic of Armenia and other state governance bodies, the President has decided:

1) to reorganize the State Revenue Committee under the Government of the Republic of Armenia, joining it to the Ministry of Finance;

2) to reorganize the State Committee for Architecture under the Government of the Republic of Armenia, joining it to the Ministry of Urban Development;

3) to repeal the 12th and 13th points of the II part of the President’s decree NH-1063 of March 16, 2002, "On Defining the Structure of the Government of the Republic of Armenia";

4) to define that according to the Customs Code of the Republic of Armenia, "On the Customs Service", "On the Tax Service" and other laws of the Republic of Armenia, the Minister of Finance is the head of the customs and tax bodies;

5) for the Government of the Republic of Armenia to adopt legal acts proceeding from this decree in one month’s term.
