YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 15, ARMENPRESS: We must find a compromise on the perspective of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, but the issue is complicated and the sides have different ideas on the solution of the issue. Armenia regard Karabakh as a second Armenian state, while Azerbaijan perceives it as an indivisible part of its territory. The issue can be solved only theoretically. There are two ways getting out of the created situation: to continue negotiations for the sake of negotiations as to exclude war, or terminate the negotiations and start a war. Politician Yervand Bozoyan introduced these assessments at the course of the discussion on “Movement and perspectives of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict” held in "Caucasus» institute on November 15. Yervand Bozoyan added that war is not beneficial for the sides; the mediators do not encourage resumptionofwaroperations as well.

“Armenpress” reports that the politician believes that the conflict is not settled as the perception of the societies on the issue are different. “There is also a deep contradiction between the superpowers which also have different viewpoints. To regulate the issue it is also necessary to differentiate Armenian-Turkish relations from that of Armenian-Azerbaijani and to separate them from the settlement of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict”.
