Armenia's President discussed Syrian-Armenians' issue with Aram I and Karekin II

YEREVAN, AUGUST 30, ARMENPRESS. The President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan had a telephone conversation with His Holiness Catholicos Aram I of the Holy See of Cilicia and His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians. The Media and Public Relations Department of the President's Office informed "Armenpress" that President Serzh Sargsyan discussed issues regarding the security of the Syrian-Armenian community and the representatives of the diplomatic representation of the Republic of Armenia in Syria. Among other things the interlocutors discussed ways of uniting powers and providing maximum possible assistance and coordinated support to our needy Syrian-Armenian brothers and sisters in the current intense and deteriorating situation.
