YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 18, ARMENRPESS. The Mayor of Gyumri Samvel Balasanyan fulfilled his civic duty in 35/37 polling station located in the Fine Arts College of Gyumri. As reports "Armenpress" the Mayor answered the reporters’ questions and stated that he noticed electoral activity in Gyumri. Samvel Balasanyan underscored: "I always come to the polling station at this time and I haven’t notices such enthusiasm ever before. Air temperature goes high alongside with the enthusiasm of the people of Gyumri. I am confident that activity of the voters' participation will not be reduced. Armenian presidential elections are of a certain importance and present enthusiasm of the people of Gyumri will result in the solution of crucial problems in future."
Among other things the mayor noted that he will personally follow the course of the votes in all the precincts to provide fair and transparent elections. Also he highlighted: "International and local observers are in Gyumri now on observation mission. We should be attentive to prevent any violation. That’s of a certain importance for us."
