Yerevan, August 10, ARMENPRESS: In the communities of the region Gegharkunik the own revenues average rate is 62.1% during the 7 months of 2012 compared to the same period of 2011 which was 80.7%. Actual revenues were reduced by 59 million 137 thousand drams.
As “Armenpress” was informed by the head of the financial and social-economic development department of the Gegharkunik administration staff Adibek Sahakyan only 35 of the Gegharkunik region communities provided high rates, 56 provided low rates 15 of which even lower.
By regions revenues in the communities of Vardenis are 61.3%, communities of Gavar 49.1%, communities of Chambarak 67.3%, communities of Martuni 64.2% and communities of Sevan 57.2%.
The Governor of Gegharkunik urged the regional leaders of different communities during the consultations to improve the situation during August and make the own revenue collection reach 100%.
The Governor met and talked with the community leaders having low rate of own revenue collection stressing that in case of not improving the situation the state investments anticipated for the implementation of the social-economic developments will be put under question.
