Yerevan, August 10, ARMENPRESS: The current situation of some medical facilities of the Republic regions is unsatisfactory. As the responsible for the press service in the Vayots Dzor administration Sona Markosyan informed “Armenpress”, the Armenian Minister of Health Derenik Dumanyan made such a statement during his visit to Vayots Dzor.
To Minister’s word an opinion is formed from the regional visits that many problems are common for all the medical facilities. “The current situation of the regional med facilities both with building facilities and saturation, and from view of management, is unsatisfactory”.
Dumanyan stressed that decisions are already made for the solutions of the current problems; additional financial flows are directed to the regions. However, according to him well-equipped new hospitals are not enough to solve the regions health problems. Financial measures allocated by the state should be correctly managed, as well as the medical institutions should be completed with the necessary specialists.
