Peace deal opens new investment opportunities, Pashinyan says in Germany

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with German business leaders at the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce.

Hamburg Chamber of Commerce CEO Malte Heyne said that local businessmen are interested in learning about the opportunities in various sectors of the Armenian economy.

Pashinyan noted that the U.S.-brokered peace summit with Azerbaijan on August 8 has opened new possibilities for investments. The Prime Minister also spoke about opportunities to unblock regional transportation routes.

He added that the Government of Armenia is consistently implementing reforms aimed at improving the business environment, developing various sectors of the economy, and attracting investments.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister answered a range of questions from the business community.

Armenia and Azerbaijan initialed a peace treaty on August 8 in Washington.
