The upcoming International Meeting of High Representatives for Security Affairs in Moscow, Russia scheduled to take place May 27-29, will not feature separate Armenian-Azeri talks, a Russian official has said.

“If you are talking about the official trilateral meetings between Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia, then no, it’s not scheduled,”  Deputy Secretary of the Russian Security Council Alexei Shevtsov told Interfax when asked about the possibility of holding Armenian-Azeri talks during the forum.

Shevtsov said the agenda of the event is full and doesn’t envisage extra formats of talks.

He said both Armenian and Azeri delegations are invited to participate in the plenary sessions and seminars, as well as the traditional meeting of CIS states.

As reported earlier, Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, will not participate in the 13th International Meeting of High Representatives for Security Affairs in Moscow. Instead, Armenia will be represented by Ambassador Gurgen Arsenyan.
