Pashinyan chairs session of the Science and Technology Development Council

The third session of the Science and Technology Development Council of Armenia was held under the leadership of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly and Chairman of the Council’s Executive Committee, Hakob Arshakyan, presented the progress made based on the outcomes of the previous session.
The following areas were outlined: Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Aerospace Technologies, Microelectronics, Semiconductors, Quantum Technologies, Biotechnology, and Life Sciences.
Deputy Speaker Arshakyan emphasized the need for tools to develop strategic programs in these areas and a mechanism to ensure compliance with state procedures.
As a result, the concept of the Armenian Innovation Fund has been developed and circulated by the working group.
The session focused on the statutory objectives of the foundation, as well as its functions and management procedures.
Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized the importance of effectively organizing the foundation’s work and highlighted the need for intensive cooperation among stakeholders.
