Prime Minister Pashinyan offers condolences on MP Mher Sahakyan's death

YEREVAN, JANUARY 13, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan expressed his condolences to the family and relatives of MP Mher Sahakyan.

"I was deeply saddened to learn of the tragic death of National Assembly Deputy Mher Sahakyan. I extend my condolences to Mr. Sahakyan's family, relatives, and colleagues," stated Pashinyan.

At approximately 16:41 on January 13, a citizen called the 911 emergency service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, reporting about an overturned Honda in a ravine at the 90th kilometer of the Yerevan-Meghri road, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Narek Sargsyan, has said on social media.

Police and rescue service personnel were dispatched to the scene.

According to initial reports, Mher Sahakyan, a Member of Parliament, was in the vehicle and sadly lost his life.
