YEREVAN, JANUARY 10, ARMENPRESS. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has congratulated Lebanon’s new president Joseph Aoun on his election.
“Congratulations to Joseph Aoun on his election as the President of Lebanon. I believe that President Aoun's tenure will bring a new era of stability and prosperity for brotherly Lebanon,” PM Pashinyan said in a post on X.
Lebanon's parliament elected army chief Joseph Aoun head of state on Thursday.
