Recent reports of Armenia making territorial concessions as a result of border delimitation are untrue

The Office of Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan has denied reports of positional concessions by the Armenian side as a result of the border delimitation process between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The Deputy Prime Minister’s Office responded to an Armenpress inquiry on the matter.

— Reports and claims circulated by some media outlets in recent days that the Armenian side is making positional or territorial concessions as a result of the border delimitation process between Armenia and Azerbaijan are untrue.

The Armenian Ministry of Defence had also described as “yet another fabrication” a report circulating for the past two days alleging that “as a result of the ongoing Armenian-Azerbaijani border delimitation process in Tavush Province, four or five Armenian combat positions near the village of Berdavan in Noyemberyan have come under Azerbaijani control”. The head of the Noyemberyan community had also denied the report.
