YEREVAN, OCTOBER 11, ARMENPRESS. The general prosecution seeks to confiscate multiple assets from former President Robert Kocharyan’s son Sedrak Kocharyan deemed to have been obtained illegally.
The general prosecution said in a statement on Friday that the claim includes 14 real estate properties, 11 participation in legal entities, bonds acquired with over 1,3 million dollars and nearly 1 million drams, over 700,000 dollars and 200,000,000 drams in deposits, right to claim the transactions conducted for over 8,2 million drams, 4 million dollars, nearly 600,000 euros and 16,000,000 rubles, another 2,7 billion drams as remainder of illegally obtained funds, another over 11 billion drams as the sum of funds deemed to be illegally obtained or unsubstantiated with legal incomes, 1,2 billion drams as the value of acquisition of a home in Ano Mera in the Greek island of Mykonos, 416 million drams as the values of acquiring shares in Playmaster Gaming Corporation (Tanzania), and over 1,9 billion drams as the value of acquiring shares in the MMG Gold Limited (Tanzania).
