Armenia’s 2023 state budget envisages allocating 5 billion drams for coronavirus response

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 4, ARMENPRESS. Armenia’s 2023 state budget envisages allocating 5 billion drams for the coronavirus response, Minister of Healthcare Anahit Avanesyan said during the debate of the 2023 state budget draft in the joint session of the parliamentary standing committees.

“5 billion drams are envisaged for covering the costs of overcoming the coronavirus”, the minister said.

There has been a wave in coronavirus cases in the past three months. But the minister noted that even in case of waves there are no more high hospitalization figures now, which she called a very positive fact.
