Armenia PM: Armenia attaches importance to continued development of relations with Francophone family

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 12, ARMENPRESS. On October 12, Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan received the Secretary-General Mrs. Michaëlle Jean’s headed delegation, which arrived to Armenia to participate in Francophonie's 31st Ministerial Conference. As Information and Public Relations of Government of Armenia informed “Armenpress”, head of the government attached importance in organizing Francophonie's 31st Ministerial Conference in our country and emphasized that Armenia highly appreciates the cooperation with the International Organization of La Francophonie which is based on francophonie universal values: cultural and linguistic diversity, French language, as well as on peace, democracy and on the contribution and development of human rights. Head of the government mentioned that Armenia, becoming a member of Francophone since 2012, Armenia attaches significance to the ongoing development and strengthening of the market relations with the member countries of the Francophone big family.

Michaëlle Jean expressed her gratitude to PM for organizing Francophonie's 31st Ministerial Conference with high level and also emphasized that OIF is interested in deepening and strengthening the relations with Armenia.
