Armenia develops system for preventing subversive intrusions: Seyran Ohanyan

YEREVAN, JULY 24, ARMENPRESS. Over the last years rather serious work has been done in the Armed Forces in the direction of taking anti-subversive measures along all border sectors. In parallel with the readiness of the personnel, a relevant system of engineering equipment has been developed, which enables to prevent attempts of subversive intrusion. As reports "Armenpress", on July 24 in an interview with "Liberty", speaking about border security, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan, in particular, mentioned about this.

"In terms of system, in terms of perspective, in order to install the technical means fully in the first line, we must first of all specify the borders, we need the demarcationof the borders, as those technical means are rather expensive, and the installation of those expensive means, especially in today's reality, when there are constant violations and there is a tension in the first line, we do not have those possibilities today," he said.
