YEREVAN, OCTOBER 25, ARMENPRESS. The "Prime Minister's Cup" amateur cross-country running tournament was held on the Parakar Etchmiadzin highway (Armavir Province of the Republic of Armenia). The names of the winners are known.
The correspondent of ARMENPRESS reports that about 1200 people participated in the amateur cross-country running tournament in 2 age groups of men and women, schoolchildren and individual athletes. Foreign citizens also participated in the tournament.
Welcoming the participants and winners of the tournament held for the second time, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan noted that times are not ordinary, and it is very important that in these extraordinary times we are also able to hold such extraordinary tournaments.
"It is also important that our reaction is accurate and adequate. In our walk, in our run, we must, against all odds, be more and more resolute. From time to time we will walk, from time to time we will run, from time to time we will stop to think about what we have to do, but our course must not be stopped under any circumstances. I thank all the participants. I noticed that the prizes in the competition of our schoolchildren are significantly less, but we will equalize the awarding of our prize winners with other groups. It is also nice that foreign citizens also participate in our tournament," said Nikol Pashinyan.
