European Wrestling: Armenia’s Arsen Harutyunyan wins silver

Armenian freestyle wrestler Arsen Harutyunyan has secured the silver medal at the European Freestyle Wrestling Championship held in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia.

In the final of the 61 kg weight category, Harutyunyan faced Zaur Uguev, who competed under the flag of the International Wrestling Federation. The fight ended with a score of 7:5 in favor of Uguev.

Arsen Harutyunyan is a four-time European champion, having claimed the title in 2019, 2022, 2023, and 2024. He is also a three-time bronze medalist at the World Championships.
