European Wrestling Championship: Arman Andreasyan wins silver

Armenian freestyle wrestler Arman Andreasyan claimed the vice-champion title in the 70 kg weight category at the European Freestyle Wrestling Championship in Bratislava, Slovakia.

In the final, Andreasyan faced Davit Baev, competing under the flag of the International Wrestling Federation, and was defeated with a score of 1-4.

Arman Andreasyan was the gold medalist of the European Championship in 2024.

He also won silver and bronze medals at the European Championship. He is the bronze medalist of the World Championship.

Earlier, Armenia's Vazgen Tevanyan earned the bronze medal at the European Championship.
