European Championships: Wrestler Karen Aslanyan advances to finals

Armenian Greco-Roman wrestler Karen Aslanyan will compete for the title of European champion. In the semifinals of the 63 kg weight category, held as part of the European Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship in Bratislava, Aslanyan defeated Andriy Semenchuk of Ukraine with a decisive 8-0 victory in about two minutes.
Earlier, in the 55 kg category, Manvel Khachatryan lost 1-5 to his Azerbaijani opponent and will now compete for the bronze medal. Later today, three-time European champion Malkhas Amoyan is set to compete in the semifinals.
