YEREVAN, DECEBER 5, ARMENPRESS. The government will scrutinize all alleged crimes and events that have happened since 1991 and which still “cause certain questions among the society”, Chief of Staff of the Pashinyan administration Eduard Aghajanyan told reporters when asked if the inspections into alleged wrongdoings will also cover the years of Levon Ter Petrosyan’s presidency.
Aghajanyan, however, noted that the process will be a difficult one due to a problem of accessibility to documents, which they even face when dealing with more recent cases.
“But this is one of our political team’s goals and we will head till the end in the direction of revealing the truth,” he said.
