YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 26, ARMENPRESS. Member of the Armenian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization (PABSEC) Anush Beghloyan has been elected as PABSEC Vice-President, the delegation members said today at a press conference in Parliament.

Beghloyan stated that her appointment is a result of the 1-year hard work of the delegation. “The status of Armenia’s parliamentary representation at the BSEC was raised. My candidacy as a Vice-President was approved by consensus, with the signature of all countries. This process is not linked with a person, this is the reflection of Armenia’s growing role in the organization and the result of a team work by everyone”, she said.

She added that for the first time Armenia is assuming a position of an executive in an inter-parliamentary organization.

The 54th PABSEC session was held on November 19-21.
