South Korea donates technical equipment to Armenian parliament staff

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 20, ARMENPRESS. South Korea’s Korea International Cooperation Agency, KOICA, has donated nearly 130,000 dollars worth of equipment to the Armenian parliament staff.

Chief of Staff, Secretary General of the Armenian parliament Tigran Galstyan said the equipment includes various devices such as conference and translation systems, modern live broadcasting devices and others.

“In the past the National Assembly would rent the abovementioned equipment for organizing and holding sessions. Therefore, this is not only a supplementation with modern equipment but also a significant cut in rental spending,” Galstyan said.

The parliament’s staff and KOICA reached a deal on the technical support in May 2018.
