Armenian Parliament ratifies agreement on creating International Aviation Bureau

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 13, ARMENPRESS. The Armenian Parliament approved the bill on ratifying the agreement to create an International Bureau for investigating aviation crashes and major incidents.

104 MPs voted in favor of the bill, 1 voted against.

The bill has been submitted by the government.

Deputy minister of territorial administration and infrastructures Armen Simonyan said the purpose of creating this International Bureau is to ensure the investigation of aviation crashes and major incidents by a specialized body independent from aviation authorities in accordance with the criteria set by the International Civil Aviation Organization.
