Russian-Armenians injured in Kaluga bus crash

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 4, ARMENPRESS. Ethnic Armenian citizens of Russia are among those injured in a passenger bus crash in Kaluga Oblast, Russia – the Armenian Embassy in Russia said.

Maria Arakelyan, 11, and Sona Adamyan, 31, were injured as the bus overturned. Both of the victims are hospitalized at the Kaluga city hospital.

Information about other victims is being clarified.

The Armenian Embassy in Russia said it maintains constant contact with local authorities.

The crash took place in the morning of February 3. The passenger bus was carrying 48 people, including 33 children.

Seven people died and 32 others were injured in the crash.
