1 dead, multiple wounded in restaurant shootout in Armenian town

YEREVAN, JANUARY 29, ARMENPRESS. 1 person has been killed and six others were wounded in a shootout at 01:30, January 29, in Abovyan, a town 16km northeast of Yerevan.

The victims are all men, and the deceased has been identified as Artashes Gevorgyan, police said.

According to law enforcement, the shootout happened during a brawl at one of the town’s restaurants.

An investigation is underway to determine details of the incident.

Other details weren’t immediately clear.
