President Serzh Sargsyan visits Armenian section of Astana Expo 2017

YEREVAN, JUNE 10, ARMENPRESS. Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan, who visited Kazakhstan on a working trip, toured the Armenian stand at Astana Expo 2017 international exhibition in the morning of June 10. The Armenian stand is located in the collective pavilion called Silk Road.

The President’s Office told ARMENPRESS the Armenian stand exhibits not only Armenian proposals for alternative energy, but also cultural, historical, economical, tourism and investment opportunities.

Armenia’s minister of economic development and investments Mr. Suren Karayan – the chief commissioner for organizational works at Astana Expo 2017, director of the renewable energy and energy saving foundation of Armenia Mr. Armen Melkikyan – Armenia’s national operator at the exhibition, and director for touism of the Development Foundation of Armenia Mr. Ara Khzmalyan presented the works to the President.

On the sidelines of Astana Expo 2017, it is also planned to organize National Days of participating countries until September 10.

President Serzh Sargsyan returned to Yerevan after completing his visit.
