Serzh Sargsyan congratulates Moon Jae-in on victory in South Korean presidential election

YEREVAN, MAY 10, ARMENPRESS. Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan congratulated Moon Jae-in on being elected as president of South Korea.

In a letter President Sargsyan wished success and achievements to the new South Korean president, and also wished peace and welfare to the South Korean people.

Sargsyan expressed confidence that during the newly elected president’s tenure Korea will continue to steadily develop and flourish, and the newly elected president will bring his productive contribution in establishing peace and stability in the region.

Mentioning that mutually beneficial and close partnership ties have developed between Armenia and South Korea during the past 25 years, President Sargsyan expressed willingness to work jointly for strengthening and deepening the friendship and cooperation even more, for the benefit of the two peoples.
