President Sargsyan attends festive ceremonies in Artsakh

YEREVAN, MAY 9, ARMENPRESS. While on a working visit in the Republic of Artsakh on May 9, President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan is taking part in the festive ceremonies in Stepanakert and Shushi dedicated to the Victory Day, the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Artsakh Defense Army and the Liberation of Shushi, press service of the President’s Office told Armenpress.

Accompanied by the leadership of Artsakh, Armenia’s governmental delegation members, the Artsakh-Armenians, the President visited the Stepanakert Memorial Complex and paid a tribute to the memory of heroes fallen at the Great Patriotic War and the Artsakh liberation war.

Within the frames of festive ceremonies, President Sargsyan also visited Shushi where he laid flowers at the Tank monument, then paid a tribute to the memory of Vazgen Sargsyan at his monument.

Serzh Sargsyan attended the concert at the V. Sargsyan square in Shushi, watched the “City of arts and crafts” exhibition.

The festive ceremonies continue in Artsakh.
