Foreigners enabled to make noncash payment for entry visa state fee

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 16, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan gave instructions regarding the process of visa issue to foreign citizens.

“With the purpose of eliminating the unnecessary complications, namely the application forms for foreign citizens in Armenia’s state border checkpoints and the exclusively cash payment for the state fee of entry visa, I am tasking the Police to discuss with stakeholder bodies within a week and present to the Government the draft on making amendments and changes in the corresponding Government decision”, the PM said, adding it is proposed to eliminate the requirement of filling in the application forms of foreign citizens at arrival.

At the same time the PM tasked the Finance Minister to discuss and present a proposal on making noncash payment for entry visas at state border checkpoints for foreign citizens.
