YEREVAN, DECEMBER 2, ARMENPRESS. Newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bulgaria to Armenia Maria Pavlova Tzotzorkova-Kaymaktchieva presented her credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan on December 2, press service of the Presidential administration told “Armenpress”.
President Sargsyan congratulated the Ambassador on her appointment and wished her success. Serzh Sargsyan said with satisfaction that the Armenian-Bulgarian inter-state relations have formed strong base due to the cultural ties and historical old friendship between the two people, the political and economic dialogue is actively developing. The President said this serves as a good base for further strengthening and deepening Armenia-Bulgaria ties.
The Armenian President expressed hope the newly appointed Ambassador with her active work will contribute to the complete revelation and development of that relations and the potential of mutual cooperation in different sectors.
Ambassador Maria Pavlova Tzotzorkova-Kaymaktchieva attached importance to fully utilize the opportunities provided by more than 5 dozen signed documents of the legal base formed between the two countries up to now and to expand the mutual cooperation.
The sides exchanged views on the process of the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, as well as on the regional threats.
