Russian MFA responds to Azerbaijani inquiry over Military Parade in Yerevan

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 21, ARMENPRESS. The Russian Foreign Ministry responded to the presentation of “Iskander” mobile short-range ballistic missile system and other Russian weapons during the Military Parade dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Armenia’s Independence held in Yerevan on September 21.

In particular, responding to the Azerbaijani haqqin.az news agency, Russian MFA’s Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Armenia and Azerbaijan are friendly countries for Russia.

“The Russian Defense Ministry deals with the supply of military equipment. These supplies are carried out in accordance with interstate agreements”, she said, “Armenpress” reported.
