Logistic center with regional importance opened in Yerevan

YEREVAN, JULY 7, ARMENPRESS. The company Urban Logistic Services (ULS) has founded a huge logistic center in Yerevan, which is unique in the Caucasus by the volume of the provided service. The complex of logistic services gives the entrepreneurs an opportunity to keep the goods in safety, to manage their transportation, dumping, packing, refinement and so on. The President of the Republic of Armenia was present at the opening ceremony of the center, who walked around the storehouses and other infrastructuresgetting acquaintedto the work done.

Karen Chshmaritian, Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, was also present at the opening ceremony of the center, who stressed during an interview with journalists, that the state welcomes the creation of such infrastructures. “This is a very important element in the process of transportation of goods and can lead to lower costs of goods. Such projects are in line with the strategy adopted by Armenia aimed to develop export oriented industries”, he stressed. According to the Minister, the center will foster Armenia’s role in the Caucasus as a transit country and the economic integration of the country.
