Armenian Economy Minister meets businessmen and investors

Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan hosted more than thirty businessmen and investors for a discussion.

Gevorg Papoyan stated that the Government of the Republic of Armenia is consistently advancing the agenda of border unblocking and is hopeful that the opening of borders with Türkiye will create new economic and logistical opportunities.

“It is very important for us that certain logistical capacities are established in border areas, particularly customs warehouses, customs terminals, and logistics centers,” the minister emphasized, according to a readout.

He also addressed the range of state support instruments available to companies for the implementation of such projects and the development of investment initiatives.

During the meeting, Minister Gevorg Papoyan answered participants’ questions, provided clarifications, and addressed a number of issues of concern to the business community.
