YEREVAN, 7 MAY, ARMENPRESS. The adoption of the resolution on Armenian Genocide recognition by the Parliament of Luxembourg is quite a great contribution to the process of international recognition of the Armenian Genocide.“It doesn’t matter if the country is big or small. If we’re talking about Europe as a whole, we see that there have been quite a lot of trends. The Pope’s position and everything that happened at the Vatican played a special role. Austria’s recognition and the German President’s speech also played a huge role. All this will lead to consequences,” President of European Integration NGO Karen Bekaryanmentioned in response to a question from “Armenpress”.

The political scientist stressed that Armenia now has to seriously think about its future actions. “It seems as though Armenia needs to change its agenda. This should serve as an opportunity to sit and sum things up in a normal way,”Karen Bekaryan mentioned, adding that Armenia is on the rise in the sense that the events that took place before and after April 24thshowed that when the nation is united and combines its efforts, even the issues that are hard to solve become easy to solve.
