Catholicos Aram I visits Armenian Embassy in Abu Dhabi

EREVAN, 12 DECEMBER, ARMENPRESS. His Holiness Aram I, Catholicos visited the Embassy of Armenia in Abu Dhabi, as posted on the official website of the Catholicosate of Cilicia, as “ArmenPress” reports. At the entrance to the embassy, His Holiness was greeted by Ambassador Gegham Gharibjanyan and the staff of the embassy. After the blessing of the traditional salt and bread, a tree-planting ceremony was held in the garden of the embassy on the occasion of the Supreme Patriarch’s visit. Ambassador Gharibjanyan touched upon the Supreme Patriarch’s support to the efforts for Armenia’s reinforcement. The Supreme Patriarch mentioned with joy that the embassy serves as the land of Armenians outside of Armenia and transmitted to the Ambassador the greetings addressed to Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan.

His Holiness expressed satisfaction with the national authority of the Diocese of the United Arab Emirates and Qatar and the Armenians for supporting and providing assistance to the embassy.
