Serzh Sargsyan receives CSTO Secretary General Nikolay Bordyuzha

YEREVAN, JUNE 25, ARMENPRESS. Today, the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan received the Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) NikolayBordyuzha who paid a working visit to the Republic of Armenia.

The Department of Mass Media and Public Relations of the President’s Staff of the Republic of Armenia informed Armenpress that the interlocutors discussed issues related to the cooperation within the frames of CSTO. At the course of the meeting NikolayBordyuzha reported to the President of the Republic about the current activities of the organization, the results recorded within the cooperation, including the development of CSTO military component, the realization process of the development program of the main directions of CSTO member states military cooperation, the current activity of CSTO Joint Staff, as well as issues related to the Collective Security of the Organization in the Caucasian region. The President of the Republic of Armenia and CSTO Secretary General discussed the realization process of the resolutions adopted in the previous session of CSTO Collective Security Council.
