Serzh Sargsyan receives OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs

YEREVAN, MAY 16, ARMENPRESS. Today, the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan received the Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group - Ambassadors Igor Popov of the Russian Federation, Jacques Faure of France, and James Warlick of the United States of America, and the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk. The new French Co-Chair to be appointed in the coming future Pierre Andieux also attended the meeting. Jacques Faure introduced him to the President of the Republic of Armenia at the beginning of the meeting.

The Department of Mass Media and Public Relations of the President’s Staff of the Republic of Armenia informed Armenpress that Serzh Sargsyan highly appreciated the activity of Jacques Faure and thanked him for the most important mission that he has realized so far in the negotiating process.

At the course of the meeting the Co-Chairs along with the President Serzh Sargsyan discussed issues related to the current state of the peaceful settlement of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and further steps.
