Armenia’s President congratulates Putin

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 24, ARMENPRESS: The President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan congratulated the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on February 24 on the occasion of the Russia’s victory in the Sochi Winter Games 2014. The Department for Mass Media and Public Relations of the Armenia’s President Office informed Armenpress that in the message Serzh Sargsyan expressed his gratitude for the invitation to take part in the opening ceremony of the 22nd Sochi Winter Games 2014, which was unique of its kind and left an unforgettable impression on the Armenia’s President. The closing ceremony of the Olympiad was no less impressive as well and could be considered to be the most mass closing ceremony throughout the history of the Games.

The Olympic crown has become the Russian team’s absolute victory with the record amount of 33 medals. Serzh Sargsyan sincerely congratulated Vladimir Putin on the unprecedented victory and wished the Russia’s brotherly people to have more successes and achievements.
