Sergei Movsisyan also in second round: World Chess Cup

YEREVAN, AUGUST 12, ARMENPRESS: Armenian chess players finished their matches in the first round of World Chess Cup. “Armenpress” reports that Vladimir Hakobyan in white figures played draw with Son Giuen and in result of two matches could not pass into next round as he was defeated in the first match. Sergeu Movsisyan also played draw but due to victory in the first match gained the right to play in second roundwhere he will face David Navarra. Hrant Melkuyan shared point with his opponent and will play am extra match.

Earlier Levon Aronyan had defeated Mikhail Markov from Kyrgyzstan and will play in the second round.
